Considering Pi cant handle the money, i could do it but i would prefer it if thermal/soada could because im sure they could keep track of it all a hell of alot better than i could right now. But having said that, if you guys would like me to do it i will definatley do it well because money is seriouse.

I hate to take this thread off topic, but my formula for cash was:
Uni course that offered a scholarship.
Paid for Hecs in cash (no interest + 25% discount or something like that).
No car (until recently).
Living at home with minimal rent.
Found a job I was good at. The boss had heaps of respect for the skills I had so pay rises came quick and easy (for a grad software engineer). Having no life and enjoying challenges so I could take on overtime on different projects. Looking back on it, 80 hours software deving in a week plus 15 hours of travel to/from work was not a good idea or something that could be kept up.

I think the usefulness of our own server is up in the air.
If we need a server to practice on, the rented GA stuff seems to be doing ok.
The only thing a clan server would allow are:
* Custom maps
* More admin control
Since we are mostly a competitive clan, these things don't enter into the equation most of the time.
Most people don't seem to hang out in vent, so why would they hang out on the clan tf2 server?

if we did have i server, i for one probably would never use it unless we organised something that would use it only because gamearena servers don't count to my downloads...

like pi said we don't NEED it, do you guys remember when we had the last server very, very often it was empty i would jump on join our empty server for a few mins hoping in vein that some other people/m0f0s would join but no it was 90% empty. becasue its cost such alot of money i dont think its worth it. when pi is as organized as he is with the consistent booking of GA servers (thanks for that BTW) its just not worth it.... but i would still be happy to pay IF it gos ahead.

Having a server requires being on all the time people join and it can feel alive, none of us can do that.
