| Dont get that 2nd logitech one. My ears hurt just thinking about it. Had them for about a year.. they are destroyed with only the mic and one side working now, the cable breaks very easy. I just recently upgraded to these babies: http://www.plantronics.com/north_america/en_US/products/computer/pc-gaming-headsets/gamecom-777 I got the USB 5.1 version (90 bucks), but you can get the 377 for about 65 and they are basically the same minus the usb and 5.1 feature (which I never use). | |

| I have that second pair. They're fine, had them for longer than I can remember now.
I would never spend THAT much money on a bloody headset.

i would go for a Real audio brand IF you where going to get them. AKG HSC271 * Professional headsets derived from K 271 Studio headphones * Closed-back headphones for optimum ambient-noise attenuation * Condenser microphone * Flexible microphone arm with shock mounted transducer, swiveling through 270 degrees for left or right-hand use * Noiseless microswitches for automatic microphone muting * Headphone auto-mute function (HSC 271) * Detachable cable with mini XLR connector * Switchable bass cut filter yum Price: $949.00

| I have the same ones as you jack, the logitech ones. All i can say is, the pain in that cartilage flappy part of your ear after wearing them for 5+ hours (with out adjusting them)......Is excruciating. But i think its just because your not doing yourself any good not moving from in front of the monitor for 5+ hours nonstop (no pee brakes or nothing) I compare the pain to say having your ear slammed by a car door when ever the ear is agitated, pain doesn't go away till after about 15mins i would say. Also my right one hurts more then the left, it hurts so much more that i dont even feel the pain with the left one. Its happened about 3 times (all the times i did the 5+ marathons) to me (been about 22 months since i've had them), i am sure your more responsible then me with your time, hopefully. Well happy gaming | |

For me that pain would start after about 1 hour, right in the spot you mentioned.. it seemed the longer I had them the quicker the pain would manifest. All I can say is, 90 bucks is nothing for a headset, like fox said there are many that go upwards of 200 dollars, and I had gone through so many. Now I have great sound, clear mic, and my ears are painfree for the last 2 months.

| after about 1-2 hours non stop... yea it does hurt... but for crystal clear voice chat i'm very happy with them... and i can have the sit round my neck and they still work fine with the mic. so all in all atm anyway i'm happy. and for $30 including postage i'm pretty happy. | |

| I paid $20 for those ones that you had Jack, but I broke them last week so I spent $30 on possibly the best pair I've had to date. Nice and big, comfy, decent mic (though I haven't really tested it) and it's all flexible and stuff. GOod. | |
