GA Comp Coming Up

I just got this email from GA:

To Clan Captains, The GA ladder will reopen Tuesday 23rd at 6pm. Several of the changes to this season are still to be implemented to both the rule set and the ladder template but rather than delaying the start I will reopen the ladder and they will be changed shortly. As a result the new rules/restrictions will not be used until teams are notified. I suggest captains jump over to http://www.gamearena.com.au/forums/tf/thread.php/4494443 and have a read of the updated ladder FAQ thread detailing important changes and clarifications, which will be added to the rules shortly. Of note is the changes to Season 3: Changes between seasons S3: Added maps: pl_badwater, cp_steel, arena_well, arena_granary, arena_badlands, arena_ravine, arena_lumberyard. Removed: warpath2. Changed to no critical hits. Added class restrictions: 3 Soldier, 2 medic, 2 demo. As these have not yet been added all of the above will not yet be used in the GA rules at present EXCEPT for the use of NO critical hits. The servers will still default to having crits on so when your server comes up teams will need to login to rcon as usual and use the command rcon tf_weapon_criticals 0 to turn them off and restart the game rcon mp_restartgame 20. As per usual gentlemens agreement rules teams can change the rules regarding crits, numbers, class restrictions if they both agree for their matches. On a side note the use of arena maps in any degree is still being assessed due to limitations with their use in server rotations so they may not make it into the ladder at all. Any pending freeplay matches on Tuesday or after will be cancelled prior to the ladder restarting, so your bookings will not come up.
